These are hunting themed ballpoint pens plated in antique pewter with an engraving of a deer.  The ink tip is extended by cocking the lever on the pen clip. These make perfect gifts for any gun or hunting enthusiast.

INK REFILL:  These Lever Action ballpoint pens accept any ‘Parker’ style refill.  The Schmidt EasyFLOW 9000 is what I recommend.

(A)  BOCOTE  (OUT OF STOCK)

This pen was made using a figured block of Bocote hardwood from South America.  Bocote has a wavy grain pattern with yellow-orange wood interrupted by stripes of near black. I applied my best and most durable finish of polished cyanoacrylate to the wood.

(B)  RHODESIAN TEAK (OUT OF STOCK)

This pen was made using Rhodesian Teak hardwood. Despite the common name, Rhodeisan Teak is not a true species of Teak, but shares Teak’s hardness and rot resistance. The wood is a rich caramel color with dots of dark brown. I applied my best and most durable finish of polished cyanoacrylate to the wood.

This pen was made using a Pyinma Burl from Southeast Asia.  The wood has a shiny brown color and notable chatoyance in bright light. I applied my best and most durable finish of polished cyanoacrylate to the wood.

(D) CURLY BLACK LOCUST

This lever-action ballpoint pen was made using a very curly piece of Black Locust from Waddle, PA. The wood has a nearly three dimensional appearance within the wavy grain pattern. It has my best and most durable finish of polished cyanoacrylate to the wood.

E.  BLACK IRONWOOD

This lever-action ballpoint pen was made using Black Ironwood.  The wood is brown with dark brown and black grain patterns. The tree that this pen came from grew in southern Florida. I applied my best and most durable finish of polished cyanoacrylate to the wood.
